   SPEAKING EVENTS

The Turning Point - Women's Stories

There comes a time when something bubbles up and demands to be realised in our lives. This series of events is about women sharing those experiences, telling the stories of the events that have shaped them and set them on a new path

"What we speak comes to life,

sparking collaborative potential, inspiring, creative ideas,

igniting possibility and opening the door for divine purpose to enter"

- Oprah Winfrey

Tickets on sale now https://www.trybooking.com/305535

Two new authors - one fiction, one non-fiction share their stories, and then there's the music, the bubbles and fun.  Yes we're doing it again. Come and have your ears tweaked to soul frequency with turning point stories from some great and good local women.

Penny Nesbitt is the culture queen - she's fresh from studies in positive psychology and the happiness and its causes conference with a wry sense of humour, knack for narrative and a message for anyone who wants to be more fulfilled at work.

Leife Shallcross loves traditional stories and folklore. Her first novel - a magical retelling of the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale will be published in May 2018 by Hodder & Stoughton of London. Before finally working out how to make a career out of writing at age 37, she did 'other stuff', but writing and literature is her passion. She may just be living her dream life.

Ali Penney this husky-voiced, "blues sweetie" and Canberra fave DJ Gosper will get you right in the groove thang with their sassy songs and fine talent. If you haven't heard them play you're long overdue.
